Lego Walls are quite a new and creative way by which kids have fun and learn at the same time. You can convert any Wall of your home into a Lego Wall by using the Lego baseplates, a wood frame, and wood glue. This is also not very costly and it has positive reviews as children love it. In this article, we will tell you how you can make a Lego Wall at your home so that your kids can also experience a fun learning way.
How to make a Lego Wall?
Here is the stepwise process to make a Lego wall properly:
· Size of Lego Wall
The most important step is to determine the size of the Lego wall as you have to make sure that you have proper wall space. Then according to the space or location which you find to make a Lego wall, you have to determine how many base plates you will need to fill the space in order. In this making, I have used a 4×4 footwall of Lego base plates with a wood frame according to the overall size.
· Painting the wood frame
This is an optional step. Here, I painted the wood frame to make it look nicer. But if you do not want to paint you could skip this part. I have painted the wood frame because the color scheme matches with my location for making the Lego wall and this paint on the wood frame gave it a better look.
· Time for Lego Baseplates
Now, the next thing you need to do is to measure and assure that you have baseplates centered on the wood frame. You can do it like- take a pencil and doing light tracing of the outside of the Lego baseplates so that you can know where to lay them all down before gluing. While doing so I measured, marked, and ensured that all baseplates should be fixed rightly.
· Gluing the Lego Baseplates
Now, it’s time to paste the Lego baseplates on the wood so for this I used wood glue to stick Lego base plates altogether. For doing so, I used Liquid Nails. One by one, you can put the Glue on the back of the base plates and put them into their places.
· The Alignment
After sticking the base plates, you have to make sure that the plates are properly aligned. Moreover, ensure to add Lego pieces to all intersections and edges of the base plates. Another thing you need to check is that proper spacing should be allowed for pieces to be built smoothly across base plates.
· Hang it on the wall
Now, double-check that the pieces are securely glued on the wood frame or not. Try to move them if they are moving, fix the issue by gluing them again, and if they are not moving and are properly fixed, then you can hang the wood frame on the wall.
· The fun part
Now that you have hung the Lego baseplate on the wall, you can enjoy it. Another thing you can do is you can place buckets down below the Lego Wall in which you can keep the Lego pieces.
So overall, the wall is ready and the kids will love it.
The final words

You can make such a Lego Wall at your home in one day as we have described the stepwise process above. So you should make this wall at your and create a creative learning environment for your kids.
