In such a situation, special care should be taken of the hair during the summer season like giving massages with good hairfall hair oil. Along with the skin, the problem of hair also increases in the summer season. Due to excessive sweating, itching, rash, dirt sticking to the scalp, the root of the hair starts weakening. Excessive moisture or humidity, heat is harmful to the health of the hair. Moisture causes stretching of the hair strands. Due to scorching heat and the sun, the hair becomes hard and lifeless. To keep your hair healthy and beautiful, wash it regularly and then dry it thoroughly. This reduces the damage caused to the hair due to humidity in the summer season.

Don’t Wash Hair Every Day

In summer, the head sweats more. This can cause dandruff. People clean their hair every day to remove dandruff, which is not right. Washing your hair daily removes the natural oil present in the hair. Wash your hair every two days, but with only water or less shampoo.

Hair Conditioning Is Essential

Whenever you shampoo your hair in summer, do not forget to condition it. Choose a protein-based conditioner to minimize any damage caused by the shampoo. One thing to keep in mind is that conditioners containing excess protein can damage the hair. Deep conditioning your hair once a week.

Avoid Combing Too Much

Over combing or brushing can damage your hair. Frequent brushing of hair in summer reduces its moisture. Use a fiber comb to detangle the hair after washing.

Eat Seasonal Fruits and Healthy Diet

Proteins and vitamins are very important for hair. Make sure your diet includes plenty of vitamin C, iron, zinc, omega-3 fatty acids. Apart from this, eat seasonal fruits like cucumber, watermelon, cantaloupe, mango, orange, vine, coconut water etc. All these are beneficial for hair as well as skin and overall health.

When Hair Started Losing Its Shine

Many times the shine of the hair starts decreasing due to strong sunlight. The hair also becomes tough. Wear a hat or cover your hair with a scarf when out in the sun. Avoid bathing in a swimming pool, as the chlorine in its water can make hair dull, dry. Wear a swimming cap while taking a bath in the swimming pool. If the hair is getting colorless fast, then consult a hair expert.
