Crash Course Review :

In the Rajasthan town, the Netflix series Kota Factory’s first two seasons exposed the education industry’s scam. Kota has evolved from a fair doria saree knitting center to a coaching plan for learners desiring to ace the ordinary entrance examination for entries into engineering or medical classes. Students swarm to Kota in search of admission to prestigious universities and subsequent employment with international corporations at seven-figure wages.

As you all know everything so there is nothing additional to add to the description of greedy coaching courses, pushy parents, and helpless students. Therefore the Manish Hariprasad and Raina Roy-written and actor-directed Amazon Prime Video series Crash Course cover well-worn ground.

The man who displays the avarice and aim of Kota is Ratanraj Jindal (Annu Kapoor), who has grown from deprivation to establish a leading coaching academy. Ratanraj desires to run his opponents out of business and after himself rename the town.

His major opponent is aged school teacher Arvind Batra (Siddharth Kak), who commenced coaching as a task and is worried by the corruption of his sons Shashank (Bhanu Uday) and Mayank (Chirag Vohra). Between the two institutes, there is student and faculty espionage, along with other shady tactics for winning the rankings battle. Both of them employ Binny Agarwal (Udit Arora), a fixer who receives a commission from the party that pays.

Jindal is fully aware that for those students who appear for the Indian Institute of Technology admission exams in which only less than one percent of students get selected, the competition is intense. Middle-class parents mortgage their houses and take loans to send their children to the best centers in Kota. Failure could destroy families, which causes children to live in what one character refers to as a “pressure cooker” environment. Jindal likes his academy to create top-ranking students, even if it implies locking them up in their hostels and providing them with concentration-increases drugs.

There is some significance to the series while it dwells on the students and the warring institute or college heads. This series’s Jeetu Bhaiya, the famous educator in Kota Factory, is AK Sir (Pranay Pachauri). When other educators push rote learning while AK sir makes physics fun.

Other characters, including the canteen owner (Bidita Bag) and a married teacher’s female companion (Vasuki Punj), have no redeeming qualities.

Among the group of children, the promising bits belong to Vidhi Gupta (Anushka Kaushik) the girl who came to be a bone of contention between Jindal and Shashank Batra, her best friend is Hetal Gala, Mohit Solanki as the child ruined by his father’s expectancies, Bhavesh Balchandani as the comedian, Riddhi Kumar and Hridu Haroon as the campus lovers.

Annu Kapoor, who stands above them all and humanizes his villainous personality. Ratanraj assumes that he is delivering to the students what he never acquired – the opportunity to achieve an aspiration. Ratanraj does whatever it takes to win and doesn’t give a damn about the people or things he destroys along the way, much like the town that is glistening with riches and opportunity (caught in all its shades by Nagaraj Rathinam’s camera).

Also, Student suicides are a dark truth in the world of competition and the display deserves credit for how it throws light through the three candidates’ tales. It pressures us to feel about all that could have been accomplished to not let it occur. The spectator is left with a lot to think about given that the series begins with a suicide attempt and finishes with the cataclysmic results of suicide.
