The lead star cast of the movie includes Ajay Devgan, Karishma Kapoor, Mukesh Khanna, Kulbhushan Kharbanda. The movie starts with a wealthy businessman Rai Bahadur Laxmi Narayan who lives in Bombay with his wife Lakshmi. They have been married for several years but have no children. On a trip to Shimla, they adopted the son of their servant, Diler, and renamed him, Vicky. When they return to Bombay, Lakshmi gets pregnant and re-visits Shimla but meets with an accident and passes away. However, the newborn baby, Amar was alive but now Diler wants to kill him.

Diller’s wife, Parvati wants to return Amar to Laxmi Narayan and so she runs to Bombay. While on the other hand, Diler informs Lakshmi Narayan that both of his wife and sons are dead and so he cremated them. Diler relocates to Bombay and looks for Parvati but is unable to find her. Parvati reaches Bombay but she was unable to contact Lakshmi Narayan. Years later, Amar is grown up and now works as a police inspector in the Sion police station. He loves a girl named Priya who is the daughter of the superintendent of police. Diler is now a taxi driver and his son Vicky is an alcoholic and he also wanted to wed Priya. Their lives have tangled now and have become complicated.
The movie is full of blackmail, decite, murder, and suspense. It is interesting to watch what will happen next in the story. However, the movie hasn’t got many ratings but it is liked by most people.
