Rithani Metro Station: Complete Guide with Facilities, Ticket Prices & Timings

The Meerut Metro Phase 1 Project is moving forward at a fast pace and is expected to bring huge relief to daily commuters. This metro line will have 13 stations, beginning from Meerut South Metro Station and extending up to Modipuram Depot. Among these, Rithani Metro Station is an important stop, located near an industrial hub in Meerut. Unlike the Delhi–Meerut RRTS, which will not stop here, this station will serve only Meerut Metro passengers, making it a key point for local connectivity.

Trial runs of the Meerut Metro already started on 12th January 2025, between Meerut South and Meerut Central, marking a big step towards the project’s operational phase.

About Rithani Metro Station

The Rithani Metro Station is located in Village Rithani, Meerut, and has been given the code A12. It is being built as an elevated station and will be operated by the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC).

Construction work at the station is in the final phase. The technical rooms are ready, and finishing tasks are progressing rapidly. The station will feature two entry-exit gates, one of which is nearly complete. With a length of 75 meters and height of 15 meters, the station has been designed to handle local passenger traffic smoothly.

Importantly, this station does not provide connectivity with the Delhi–Meerut RRTS line; instead, it is dedicated solely to Meerut Metro operations. Its location near industrial areas makes it especially significant for workers and businesses in the vicinity.

Structure and Design

Rithani Metro Station has been designed for local passenger flow rather than intercity travel.

  • Elevated structure with two levels – concourse and platform.
  • Two entry-exit gates for passenger convenience.
  • No parking facilities, as the focus is primarily on local commuter access.
  • Designed to integrate with nearby roads and industrial hubs for easy access.

This connectivity ensures smooth access for people traveling across the industrial and residential zones of Meerut.
